About us

As a young child, I have fond memories of visiting my grandparents allotment in Louth. Their little potting shed was a special place - a place to be still and witness the beauty of nature. 40 years later, The Flower Shed became that little shed all over again.

A place where we embrace the uniqueness of every stem and the beauty of the seasons. Our floral style is best described as natural and romantic, nothing is sculpted or forced.

Caring for our environment underpins our creativity and forms an important part of our work. We only use sustainable floristry methods - never single use plastics or synthetic floral foam.

We strive to ensure there is zero waste after an event; often returning the following day to create bouquets and flower jars for gifting or donating to a local hospice.

During the British Flower Season, we love to use locally grown stems wherever possible and have developed strong relationships with specially selected local growers.
